I am so grateful that my girlfriends share many many obsessions - chief among them being period dramas. When my BF Sarah and I discussed throwing our incredible friend Jordan a shower we knew it had to be a Downton Abbey themed tea. I have to say, it was one of my favorite events ever.
Jeff and I have been fortunate enough to befriend so many generous people in LA. Among them are our dear friends Steven and Denise Maynard who thoughtfully invited us and some friends to ride a duffy out from the Marina Del Rey Yacht Club.
This year brought our 2nd annual church leaders’ retreat in Oceanside, California. Ever since last year’s trip (check it out here!) I have been looking forward to returning to the serene beach side house with some of my nearest and dearest to worship, eat, relax and discuss God’s word.
I was fortunate enough recently to travel to Charleston, South Carolina with my director for a Conference. Charleston has been on my list since Julia Engel moved there a couple years ago. If you don’t follow her blog galmeetsglam.com - please go do that now. She has some incredible resources on what to do in Charleston and it was her list that ultimately inspired our itinerary.
Whether you are celebrating the month of love with your girlfriends, a boyfriend, a spouse or a pup - I hope you enjoy a peak inside one of our favorite date days in LA as well as a few tips on how to save some money!
We have been waiting for you! I cannot wait for what this new year will bring and in keeping tradition with last year I thought I would share my New 2019 Resolutions as well as A TON of fun photos from our 4th Annual New Year’s Eve Bash!
This year has brought so much change to our lives. Between a new home and new jobs - God has seriously brought our rhythms into a very different season. And we are LOVING it. More often than not, I am thankful for the consistent things in our lives; Jesus, our church, and our families. But this year I am more and more grateful for the inconsistent things; the new friends, varied day to day routines and all the different opportunities that have come our way.
In case you missed the news, we’ve moved! I wanted to share these super sweet cards from Watercolor Paperie on Etsy in the event you are moving soon and are looking to notify friends and family of your new mailing address in a fun and creative way.
