I was fortunate enough recently to travel to Charleston, South Carolina with my director for a Conference. Charleston has been on my list since Julia Engel moved there a couple years ago. This year has brought so much change to our lives. Between a new home and new jobs - God has seriously brought our rhythms into a very different season. And we are LOVING it. More often than not, I am thankful for the consistent things in our lives; Jesus, our church, and our families. But this year I am more and more grateful for the inconsistent things; the new friends, varied day to day routines and all the different opportunities that have come our way.

I am so excited to share with you all our trip to Bald Head Island, North Carolina! Our best friends and roommates Sarah and Casey have been inviting us to their parents summer house for a few years and we were finally able to join them! I will be sharing our week in 2 parts on the blog as well as putting together a quick city guide for the island.
