This year has brought so much change to our lives. Between a new home and new jobs - God has seriously brought our rhythms into a very different season. And we are LOVING it. More often than not, I am thankful for the consistent things in our lives; Jesus, our church, and our families. But this year I am more and more grateful for the inconsistent things; the new friends, varied day to day routines and all the different opportunities that have come our way.
Among the shifts and chaos there has also been so much joy. There has been true straight-from-heaven-peace. Much of this sweetness has come from the company of our Missional Community. I want to take the opportunity to tell them and the world how endlessly thankful I am for them. I can’t picture our lives without each one of their unique giftings, their complex stories and struggles or their amazing and abounding grace for us.
Tall House, I love you.
Here is to many more memories, corn mazes, photo shoots, laughs, tears, and spirit lead life on life. I love you to the pumpkins and back.
If you are looking for some traditional fall fun in Los Angeles, Tapia Brothers Farm is amazing. They host a massive Corn Maze, Hay Ride, Pumpkin Patch, Petting Zoo and a little market shoppe…all just off the 101 in Encino. It can be hard to find fall weather here in LA, but we can still have a good old farm adventure. I would definitely recommend checking it out!
Our missional community had the best time celebrating the fall season. These are the types of memories I long and live for, and I am so happy the Lord has brought them to us in the form of these gorgeous people. I will forever be thankful.
