My word for 2017 is BOLD. I know most people posted weeks ago about their New Years Resolutions, shared their vision boards or words for the year. I like to think my word has had a bit of a soft launch. BOLD is a word I have used to describe myself for years. I have always been outgoing, theatrical, loud and silly. I also tend to dress a little flashy. It is just who I am and I am proud of that. I think I used to hide behind my boldness though almost as a cover...it was my safety...my default personality. When I was younger, I dreamt of living in a big city. Whether it was New York, London, LA, Chicago, I knew in my heart of hearts that I would end up in the city.
City life has always appealed to me in dramatic ways. I am a text book extrovert. I love being around people and find it always gives me energy and life. I knew I had to live in a city because I needed to be fueled by it. Not to be dramatic, but I think I might just fade away anywhere else. I also love the busy-ness of a city. I love the stacked, packed, colorful, stimulating world that a city has to offer.
